Bermuda triangle

I was working last week and it was not too busy so I had my phone in my scrubs pocket. I had just talked to Cody when the nurses asked me to come help move a patient to a baribed. This patient is over 500 lbs and is ventalated and sedated, there was a team of us and quite a bit of comotion. This was his second bed move as the bed company originally brought the incorrect bed. The move was succesful and the bed company removed the previous used bed. Shortly after I realize I am missing my phone. I frantically look everywhere. My phone is nowhere! The family of the patient even tries to call my phone to see if it is somewhere in the room, NOTHING! We call the bed company and they say they have not seen it. I go home a little depressed that I am going to have to buy another new phone. Early the next morning I recieved a call from our unit clerk stating the bed company had found my phone and brought it back. She offered to clean it with alcohol wipes and I happily told her I would be in shortly to get it. When I got there I mentioned to one of the nurses what had happened and he said it is the new bermuda triangle...he had lost his badge in the patients bed during the first bed move. Hopefully we won't loose any good nurses in the bermuda triangle.

Thats why I always wear my scuba gear when I go swimming in fat rolls, that way I dont lose anything. Glad to hear you got it back. I wouldn't have been suprised if they you would have found it two weeks later, lifting and lunging to pull up his panus while putting cream on his belly. Isn't it great what great treasures we can find!!

Your stories kill me! Sometimes I don't think you're meant to have a phone. J/k. Have fun on your trip! You'll have to post lots of pics when you get back.
