Grandpa's tumor!

So I know I just dropped off the face of the blogging earth but I have been so busy I have not even been checking my e mail. YIKES for a computer/e mail junkie like myself....lol. Really, so last week my only living grandfather (almost 80) had brain surgery to remove a fairly large mass. All went well, he is a tough cookie!!!! So my mom, aunt and Grandma put bald caps on and went to visit him. He was very sad to shave off his 4 hair comb over and proudly stated he would have a full head of hair in a few days. OK Grandpa, but apparently a full head of hair to him is about 4 strands of hair (he is a very proud man!) So this is a cute picture of my bald Grandparents lol!

The pathology came back yesterday. The tumor is benign and there is no sign of cancer anywhere in his body. It looks like they will be off to Europe this spring after all. A well deserved trip. Very relieved!!!

Build a bear birthday party

Hope had her birthday party at build a bear today. She had 5 friends and her sister there to celebrate with her. We had so much fun! I really enjoyed not having the party stress at my house, it was definatly worth the money. Hope got a dog instead of a bear and picked out a karate outfit for it. She has taken two karate lessons now and is really loving it.

Jonas Brothers!

So how fun was last night. The girls had a blast, we took Hope, Abby, and one of Abbys firends Aspen. I have never in my life heard that much high pitched screaming! I definatly needed a drink to soothe the headache, but we did really have a good time. Always fun to be goofy with your kids!

All grown up

We are on our way to the Jonas Brothers concert tonight and the funniest thing happened in the car last night. Abby, Hope, and I were driving down the road and I put in the Jonas Brothers CD. All of a sudden I hear Hope belting out the words. She knew all the words and was singing along it was so cute! Sometimes I just wonder how she grew up so fast and then I look over and there is the reason, my almost teenager Abby.
